There is one known Real Estate rule – kitchens sell houses.
A kitchen is also the beating heart of any home – which makes this one of the most crucial rooms on The Block.
There is so much to look forward to when it comes to kitchen week…
What will the island look like?
Will it be an entertainer’s kitchen?
Which new appliances are elevating the market?
While the lead up to kitchen week didn’t disappoint in terms of drama, there were some true ‘wow’ moments.
Style highlights …
This week’s winners Andy and Deb delivered a truly dreamy kitchen.
The hero, of course, being that amazing light-filled void, which makes the space feel incredibly grand.
The white cabinetry is beautiful, along with the gorgeous island bench – perfect for entertaining as well as day to day life.
Their choice if marble splashback gives a sense of incredible luxury in the light-filled space.
I also really loved Tess and Luke’s contemporary kitchen.
The enormous island bench is what kitchen dreams are made of and I love the choice of bar stools to match.
Their choice of dark timber cabinetry worked well with the charcoal and concrete-look splashback and black tapware, which complemented the dark timber floors and chocolate-colored cabinetry.
In terms of those extra ‘wow’ factors, the pendant is beautiful, very modern and fitting to the space, and the artwork is just the right amount of colour the room needed.
Sticking to the contemporary feel, Jesse and Mel, create a sleek and modern space, which is very cohesive to their style in the rest of the house so far.
Their island bench, as of well as the concrete splashback works beautifully against the dark timber cabinetry and black tapware, adding luxury and light to the room
The pendant light itself is an artwork and compliment the space beautifully.
Matt and Elise’s kitchen had some truly stylish elements.
The big highlight here is that amazing wine fridge, which worked beautifully amongst the sage-hued cabinetry.
Their island bench, not only featured a sink but also a state-of-the-art cooktop and a stunning concrete-look induction range hood – all of which looked spectacular.
Mitch and Mark had many stylish elements in their kitchen.
The stars were the backlit-splashback and illuminated island bench – which looked super sleek and grand.
Their dark timber floors and navy blue cabinetry worked beautifully against the grey and white tones of their main cupboards.
Still ahead …
Next week it’s all about luxurious living spaces.
