The Block 2019 | Rooftop Terrace & Front Garden Revealed

After three months of construction, renovations, style sensations and all the drama to match – the final pieces of the puzzle have been laid.

This week saw contestants prefer their rooftops and front garden before the big auction day – showcasing some amazing styling and great design.

Style highlights …

Taking out the win with both designs in absolute style were Elise and Matt – who created two truly stunning spaces.

Their rooftop terrace is an entertainer’s dream featuring a lounge area, coffee table, spectacular BBQ, fridge area and kitchen prep space along with custom-made seating.

But the knockout start has to be the amazing in-built fireplace – perfect for the ever-changing Melbourne weather.

The final touch was the beautifully potted olive and lemon trees, which added a real sense of home and luxury.

Their front garden is a perfect welcoming design.

I love the tile choice and well as the beautiful plants and lovely sitting area.

Deb and Andy created a simple, yet stylish outdoor terrace area that ties in beautifully with the rest of their house.

Furnishing it with a white picnic table, stylish timber and cream couches, a large BBQ,  large potted plants, and adorning the area with pretty festoon lights.

The timber breakfast bench is gorgeous and very appropriate for the St Kilda lifestyle.

Tess and Luke certainly finished on a high, with a stylish and elegant rooftop terrace.

The gorgeous space included a sophisticated white and grey outdoor dining suite wooden table with high bench seats, a coffee table and a series of potted citrus and palms – which were a lovely pop of colour.

Jesse and Mel created a modern and sophisticated rooftop terrace.

Continuing with their paired back style which has been ongoing throughout their house, they featured a great BBQ and outdoor kitchen, built-in seating and perfect bar area.

The timber highlights and use of outdoor plants added warm and atmosphere, making it a great place to entertain.

Their front garden, while quite paired back, presents a lovely canvas for the potential buyer.

The pop of green from the plants stands out against the monochrome colour pallet, and the tiling choice is stunning.

While the styling was interesting, there was still a lot to love about Mitch and Mark’s rooftop terrace.

This truly tied in their goal to create an ‘Entertainer’s Dream House’ with a second BBQ, coffee table, and gorgeous lounging chairs.

Their choice of plants is beautiful, featuring potted palms in large white pots.
